BUG: Cast on Crit on support gem instead of skill gem

Has anyone seen this or know the fix for a glitched skill gem?

FITTING DETAIL:

Character level: 78
Skill: Cast on Critical
Gem Level: 17
Gem fitted with:
• Ball Lightning: 16
• Arc: 16
• Efficiency II
• Boundless Energy II
• Living Lightning II


ISSUE SUMMARY:

I completed a map and received a level 17 skill gem. I upgraded a level 14 cast on critical to 17 using the gem.

I meet or exceed all requirements to activate the persistent gem.

Now the gem appears to think Living Lightning II is the skill gem that should activate the Cast on Critical Skill.

I’m unable to right click activate Cast on Critical even though I have sufficient Spirit. I also tried with an off-hand scepter which gave me an extra 100 spirit, but the skill wouldn’t activate.

When I remove the Living Lightning II support gem the Cast on Critical gem greys out with the error: 'Missing socketed skill'.

Cast on Critical should activate on either Ball Lightning or Arc being placed in a socket, but for some reason it thinks the support gem is the trigger. Even with the Living Lightning II support gem socketed I’m unable to right click the Cast on Critical gem to activate.

I tried with a lower level Cast on Critical gem and it seems to be doing the same thing.

It's like all of my Cast on Crit gems are looking at that one LL II gem and ignoring actual skill gems for some reason.


Any ideas?
