LET US NAME OUR PETS & ALLOW THEM TO PICK UP GOLD :D

I think it would so cute to be able to name our pets, so that you can see their names and the names of other players' pets when you hover over them!

And give pets the utility of picking up gold around a certain radius of the player. Gold is already separated between players in parties, and the vast majority of it is already acquired just by moving around maps, so it would not be "pay to win" or game-breaking in the same way that allowing your pets to pick up currency or items would be. I think it would simply be cute and fun, and add to the immersion. It would provide harmless utility to an otherwise solely visual microtransaction.

If you like this idea, bump the crap out of this post so the devs notice, cause I think people would love something like this.

The reason I use the pet I do is in memory of my dog.
Puts a smile on my face to think she's running around with me in game.

Naming pets would be nice.
