Map stash tab search not working for anyone else?

I've been noticing for a while now that entering a search term in the search window will grey out EVERYTHING, even if that map tab holds a map that correlates to the search term. Like if you search "corrupted" it won't highlight tabs that have corrupted maps until you click on that specific tab. After that the tab will remain highlighted until you remove that map. Is that intended behavior?
