Making Progress in Endgame Becoming Almost Impossible

My gear isn't fully juiced but I'm to the point where my build has at least 100-200 div in it and I've been cramming juiced T16s, Crafting, and using other methods like logbooks and citadels to get currency yet my returns are so miniscule due to bricking items on craft, insane cost of making maps, and the overall lack of any meaningfull drops. I'll waste 8 hours of my day and I'll have 4-5 divine at best on average to show for it. I see the potential to upgrade but with how much RNG and endless grinding it requires I'm no longer even wanting to log on to play. Mapping is essentially pointless unless you are UBER geared beyond 300div where you can get a ton of rarity or go for negative rarity and farm exceptionals. Went from beyond addicted to the game because it felt like there was so much more to do compared to diablo 3 (only game I've played that's similar) but now it feels equally as mundane and pointless. I thought the point of endgame was MAPPING not farming logbooks all day to then sit in your base and craft until you brick an item and have to repeat.

or you make currency let others craft and buy their crafts

ya know
Bro, I can't even get past T10 maps.

I feel ya!
I think I farmed a bit over 200 divs this past league, most of it going into a Smite build. Not much but I didn't play that often. I started with the meta snaking build and basically just did stacked deck farming mid league. I got about .5 - 1 div per map using a ritual setup + cloisture scarabs. Dead simple. Was it grindy and boring? Yeah, but I had a build that could do it well, and I could sell the decks on Faustus every 1-2 maps for a divine. No expensive setup.

For profit crafting, if you're losing all your currency, you're probably doing too big a craft (for the amount of currency you have). I start small with flasks and then transition to cluster jewels. Very easy to alt spam and harvest reforge spam. After that, find the PoB of popular meta builds and practice crafting the rares on CraftOfExile. You should have a good idea on how to craft the item and what the average cost is.

Craft in bulk. Whatever you're crafting, have enough bases and currency to craft multiple of that item because this game operates on massive RNG and you're going to get bad RNG streaks. You need to be crafting several of whatever it is you're making to overcome the bad RNG and make a profit on average. Know when to do profit taking when you get a craft to a state that's not ideal but is still in the profit zone.
sounds like POE2, this is a POE1 thread

If you're doing logbooks there's no way you get only 4-5D in 8 hours.

Logbooks net around 10d per hour if you're being half-efficient.
