Enemy units chain-pinning players is poor design or an unfortunate oversight

I think the most I've died in this game was from mapping, where enemies that pin players just chain pinned me, and I had no way of moving for 5-6 seconds, while other enemies wailed on me.
Normally, during the campaign, this is not an issue because each area has only specific enemies that pin you. WHEN MAPPING, however, those enemies are often lumped into the same enemy pool, which leads to players being chain-pinned. This is incredibly frustrating, and I hope that before the game goes live, the enemy type clusters from maps get a look-see. It really kills any fun you have when you know you played well, and then you approach a pack near an abyss, start killing, and then the enemies from that map + the enemies spawning from the abyss killing because you got chain-pinned and died, with no counterplay.
