Farrul Ascendancy question

In Farul ascendancy it says maximum number of spectres is 1

Does that means we can only have 1 spectre? shouldnt it be +1 to number of spectres?

No, I don't think they want you running around with 10+ spectres all with 3 random modifiers from (I assume) the rare monster modifier pool.

Keep in mind that I got the number 10 from https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Raise_Spectre#Total. That number requires using either Wraithlord or The Dark Monarch, both of which would prevent you from using minions other than Spectres.

While I don't know the various minion builds too well, I would expect some of them to be able to get good mileage out of a single support Spectre, rather than 2-4, when the Spectre also comes with a helpful aura?

That notable is meant for having a singular support specter that provides a strong aura of your choosing. If you build around Spectres as your main DPS these won't do, but they'll substantially buff yourself and other minions

Wild Will on a Perfect Forest Warrior Spectre gives 40% attack, cast and movement speed, has culling strike, and prevents action speed from dropping below base value. Will be great on e.g. SRS Guardian imo

For aura, spectre isn’t the only way to play minion build. And I have doubts for non minion builds due to spectre survivability is a big problem.
