Lowering strength from items did not disable skill gems requiring strength

I discovered a bug yesterday. I started by purchasing some level 20 skill gems and trying to install them. When I removed the old ones and went to add the support gems back, it said i had too little strength for them. I had 17 strength and the support gems required 25 and 40 strength.

I modified my passive tree and got the strength to 40+ and my dps went from 25k to 26k as it should have going from a lvl 19 gem to a level 20. However, my damage in game feels insane now. The reason I feel is that even though the support gems were socketed, they weren't actually working.

The bug is that when I lowered my strength below the support gem strength requirement, the skills should have turned off and been unavailable. I think it was a ring or amulet that I removed that caused the issue.

Having a Skill with socketed Support Gems you do not meet the attribute requirements for now disables just those Supports instead of disabling the entire Skill.
