Sculpted Suffering not working or wrong description.(Ignore me being dumb)

Sculpted Suffering says that "Fully Armour Broken enemies you kill with Hits Shatter" but when i kill a enemy with thorns, which is considered a hit "Thorns damage is a kind of Hit Damage you can deal.", it doesn't shatter the enemy.
(It works, the problem i was having is that shattered enemies didn't prok the herald of ice, which needs a atack, which thorns isn't).
