So PoE2 is not truly Cross Progression?
| What happened to full crossplay and cross-progression? Bought all founders packs on PSN, moved to PC and I have...none of it. It didn't stipulate anywhere on PSN, nor PoE2 promotional emails at launch of the founders packs, that the cross-progression was only between Xbox and PC. They also advertised additional game keys with the top editions, which I did not receive. They then changed their tune and said these keys are only available on PC editions. Why is this not clear? Support team are basically saying "oh well, tough. Thanks for the money though". I've asked to speak with a CM regarding this and there doesn't seem to be an actual CM for the game at all, as they dodge that question to the high heavens. Does anyone know if this will ever change? They keep blaming Sony but this definitely isn't a Sony issue given countless other games manage just fine: Overwatch, The Finals, CoD, Battlfield, Fortnite, I could go on. I cannot justify spending several hundred again just to get access to content that I already paid for due to muddy advertising. Last bumped on Oct 27, 2025, 5:34:18 AM | |
| Cross-progression (chars, items, progress) is available on all platforms. However, purchases made on PS are not available on other platforms, and vice versa. Early access must also be obtained separately for each platform. | |
| " As mentioned in my original post, this was not made clear in promotional emails or on storefront pages at launch. They also advertised top editions as coming with additional game keys which did not transpire. I bought the base edition on Steam again, booted it up and BOOM, no cosmetics due to unclear advertising. Hopefully they do something about this. | |
| It's a Sony issue they don't allow this on all games. There is nothing GGG can do about Playstation policies. There's also nothing they can do about what Sony displays on their pages. | |
| " Your argument holds no water when you don't have any evidence to back up your claim that this is a Sony issue as they don't allow it. I provided several examples clearly showing that this is NOT a Sony issue and moreso a GGG issue in terms of cross-progression/cross-play. Are you willing to provide examples of other games that have full PC>Xbox cross-progression but not PS>PC whilst supporting 3 platform crossplay? Are we also skirting over the fact that this was also omitted from GGG marketing emails, not just Sony's storefront. This isn't a Sony issue, this is a GGG issue both in terms of not implementing cross-progression as advertised and in terms of clear marketing in their own emails. The reason the gaming industry is in its current state is because a number of fans will blindly support anti-consumer practices and blame the consumer.
