Path of Exile 2 – Feedback after 1600 hours of play
|
After spending around 1600 hours playing Path of Exile 2, I’d like to share some personal feedback on areas that could use improvement.
Visibility in endgame: The overall visibility is terrible — there’s just too much visual clutter. With all the spells and effects, it’s hard to see what’s going on, and in group play, it becomes almost impossible to follow what’s happening. Delirium fog: Please add an option to enable or disable the fog during Delirium encounters. Map key crafting time: The time it takes to craft map keys in endgame is way too long. It feels more like a chore than something enjoyable. Endgame map zoom: The lack of a proper zoom-out function on the endgame map makes navigation painful. After a while, moving the cursor around just to find where you want to go becomes really tiring. Towers: Since the last patch, towers have become almost useless. When I see one, I usually prefer to go around it rather than interact with it. Winning a tablet and getting a bit of visibility is not interesting enough. Maybe adding a small random buff or unique reward on some maps could make them much more fun and worth engaging with. Unique items: Almost all of the interesting unique items have been heavily nerfed or are simply not useful anymore. I don’t really understand the point of having so many uniques that end up being completely unusable. It would be great if they were adjusted to make them actually viable or situationally interesting to use. These are the issues that personally bother me the most — I’m sure other players may have their own points of frustration, but these are the ones that stood out to me after many hours of play. That being said, I want to thank the entire team for their hard work and dedication. Despite these issues, Path of Exile 2 has given me a lot of enjoyable moments, and I truly appreciate the effort that went into creating such a deep and ambitious game.
