Performance issue may cause lost of sales on the async trade system
|
I recently changed my hideout making it as barebone and dark as possible. Removed all decorations.
The reason I did this is I notice people kept crashing upon joining my hideout. Sure, that's a small problem. They log back in, we complete the trade. However, now that I changed my hideout to be barebone, I noticed a huge spike in the volume of sales I make in my merchant tabs. So my theory is my old hideout was crashing buyers, making me lose all those sales all the time. I know it happened to me. I try to buy something from someone merchant tab, I get disconnected. Once I reconnect, I go to another seller. So yes, performance issue must be a priority because I believe having a fancy hideout may cause you to lose sales because people are crashing trying to load in. Also, recently and this is off-topic. You are not loading into the merchant tab. You load into the hideout and need to click the item again so it goes to the tab. Regardless, this is just a feedback saying performances create a lot of issues in many aspects of the game. When people continually crash in maps, in hideout, it's not just that everyone have a subpar computer. Something is up. Even streamers who tend to have very good PC have the very same issues we all have. But to anyone reading this... if you want to get more sales done, keep your hideout as lacking in details as possible. Remove all decoration, keep it dark. Last bumped on Oct 25, 2025, 9:16:42 PM

What kind of hideout would lag someone like this? Not that I doubt you considering poe2 doesn't have the best performance, but I joined hundreds or maybe even thousands of hideouts just this league and never seen any performance hit on any. My specs are low-mid
My hideout is quite fancy as well, I bought the justice pack just to get the plateau of the gods hideout and it's full of stuff, 700 out of 700 decorations used. I've never seen anyone crashing from the times someone joined while I was in the hideout crafting Last edited by iHiems#0168 on Oct 26, 2025, 5:46:42 AM

Well I do see it all the time. People who crash trying to join and asking I join them.
It isn't a very rare thing. So my theory is it may cause you to lose sales in the merchant tabs if people crash all the time trying to join your hideout. May be untrue, but your experience is not normal. People always crash trying to join hideout. |

" I legit never had such a thing happening to me or heard of it happening to anyone else. But yea if it's a real issue, then it's bad for sure |
