PoE2 Merchant Vendor & Purchase Bot
|
The fact the PC users can utilize a purchase bot allowing them to purchase an item without even loading in the graphics is totally insane! There is absolutely no way that a human can compete against a bot! The merchant vendor was a very nice idea allowing people to purchase items offline and/or not have to wait on a response for an item; however, something needs to be done to fix the matters of bots!

This was GGG's fear and why no market place was in the game initially, a bot account still has to load into hideout etc besides that, pretty hard to compete, bot accounts can simultaneously scan market compare market prices while doing stuff in game simultaneously, wealth in this game is a joke, trade league not fun, SSF no point because drops aren't even buffed, just hindering yourself disabling party play and possibility of trading, what is the point to playing this game... no fun to be had...
Can literally just play with about 30-40 divines and your gold, and slowly make more divines appear out of thin air by "manipulating" currency exchange, monitoring prices between divines exalts etc, people have even setup bot accounts to do this... can only be done with LARGE AMOUNTS of wealth + GOLD https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHyf7CIJX84 Last edited by Jobama#9902 on Oct 25, 2025, 2:20:09 PM

SSF
I think SSF is super fun, but I've never played trade. Currency is certainly low, there are lots of gearing issues. Game is challenging though. Bots should obviously not be in the game. Actually making that happen is another matter. They definitely need to figure out ways for players to interact besides chat for SSF. The coolest thing is being in the common endgame area, you see other players. lol Another super cool thing is playing hardcore and seeing when people die. It provides a sense of others playing the game. Stuff like that, leveling, milestones, I don't know. Unique drops, who got it. In SSF this is plausible, cause theres no one in there. Trade, it'd be spam and doesn't have any real meaning anyways. |
