0.3.1c made trading much more unreliable, 3 frequent issues

since the recent patch I'm encountering 3 issues:

1) randomly, i cannot place items in my merchant tabs anymore. they have the red background on the item. If clicking items already in the tab, e.g. to move them, they also acquire the red background and cannot be reinserted until I relog.

2) when connecting to some players via the trade website I now frequently just get disconnected instead, with an error "Failed to connect to instance":

3) Ange no longer autoloads the merchant window reliably. She does sometimes and doesn't others, and I have no idea why.
