Were drops nerfed?
| Since the last patch, my meager drops have dried out - like one divine out of 40 plus max juiced T15 maps. I don't have 150% rarity, because I'm not a meta build. It's adding up to data at this point, and what we've learned this league is that GGG can make super cool content, but if it incentivizes secretive hoarding of crafting recipes and MAX rarity, the endgame is worse than D4. | What patch are you talking about? 0.3.0 -> 0.3.1 or 0.3.1b -> 0.3.1c? Because I had ample amounts of drops in 0.3.1 even without significant amounts of MF on the gear. | |
| It is RNG. That is how RNG works. Rarity and everything else is just decreasing how volatile the RNG is. So if you're not stacking rarity then essentially you're playing a very volatile slot machine. So expect to be going through stages of not dropping anything for a while. As it stands if you're playign the game for drops. Then low rarity on gear is basically just wasting time. You'd be better off running less juiced maps with 150% rarity and less damage/defence than running juiced maps with low rarity and higher character power. | " They were for sure. Not even just from pack size reduction. They definitely changed drop rates on some things. Including how many Abyssal Depths you run into. When I first noticed this. I thought maybe they were basically trying to ween players off the font. As they may have let them be a little high for some dopamine spikes since the previous league was a bust.
