Heroic Armor with Herald sockets disappears during maps and loses Support Gems

I’m experiencing a recurring issue with the Heroic Armor that has three Herald sockets — Herald of Ash, Herald of Ice, and Herald of Thunder.

When I insert Support Gems into these Herald sockets, the armor randomly disappears during gameplay on any map or when you move through a portal to another location. This has already caused my character to die multiple times — it has happened dozens of times by now.

After relogging (via Character Selection or restarting the game), the armor reappears on my character in the main menu and is correctly equipped once I re-enter the game. However, all the Support Gems previously socketed into the Heralds are missing.

Through trial and error, I found that the issue seems related to server synchronization. Occasionally, if I change the selected server immediately after inserting the Support Gems and then go to the main menu, some of the gems are saved, but not all. Two of them still cannot be saved and always disappear, forcing me to use new ones.

Additionally, once the Support Gems are installed, the Heroic Armor can vanish at any time while running through a map. When it happens, I immediately lose all resistances and buffs granted by the armor and die almost instantly. This makes it impossible to progress or play normally.

Important Note:
This issue is not tied to a single item instance. I have purchased and tested multiple Heroic Armors of the same type across several characters. The problem occurs consistently on all of them, regardless of which character is using the armor. This indicates it’s a general bug affecting the item type itself, not an isolated corrupted item.

Steps to Reproduce:

Equip Heroic Armor with Herald of Ash, Ice, and Thunder sockets.

Insert Support Gems into the Herald sockets.

Start a map.

At random moments, the armor disappears and Support Gems are lost.

Expected Result:
The Heroic Armor and Support Gems should remain equipped and functional throughout gameplay.

Actual Result:
The armor disappears during maps, Support Gems vanish, and the character loses all buffs and resistances, leading to unavoidable deaths.

Additional Info:

The issue persists across multiple servers.

Switching servers sometimes affects which Support Gems remain saved.

Occurs consistently on multiple copies of the same armor type and multiple characters.

The issue seems linked to server synchronization or item state saving.
