Everything disappears after death in castaway

Died to the boss in castaway, and after respawning, everything besides the boss had disappeared. No gold, no enemies, and no satchel location in the center of the map. I was able to blow up the satchel as intended, but it only gave about 600 gold.

This is normal when you die to a map boss.
