Unobtainable 3rd set of points for Trial of Sekhemas

This has happened twice to me and it's so incredibly frustrating.

tl;dr: I can't click on the ascendancy points altar/shrine thing after completing all 3 floors to get my 5th and 6th point. The big altar/shrine is sitting there in the middle of the room between 2 big sets of chests at the end of the 3rd floor. I also can't click the portal, but I can interact with the NPC, chests, etc.

Same thing has happened twice now.

More detail:

My character name is "Sercerois" on the North America server.

1. I find a Djinn Barya coin that shows
orange text: "Completing this ascension trial will grant additional ascendancy skill points" "Number of trials: 3"
gray text: "Number of trials: 3"

2. I start the trial with this coin and complete all 3 floors.

3. I try to click on the Ascendancy altar and it won't let me click it.

4. I spend my keys and buy some relics from the NPC

5. I try again to click on the altar, it doesn't work.

6. I pull up my ascendancy passive node view and see if there are 2 points waiting for me. They're not there.

7. I try to refund points with the NPC hoping 2 more points will magically appear. They don't, and I don't refund anything.

8. I try to click on the portal and the shrine again, neither work.

9. I reboot my PS5 and go back. The points aren't there.

So after two gut-wrenching 3-floor trial runs, I'm left with nothing.

Do you have a skill bound to the button for interact, I assume X?

I think on Keyboard there's still an issue with interacting with things if you have a Crossbow skill on left click. Maybe it's "fixed" for some interactions on controller but not others?
