[PC / GeForce Now / PoE2 BETA] Triangle (△) Stash Shortcut Not Working with DualSense Controller
|
Hello GGG Team, I am reporting a controller input issue affecting Path of Exile 2 (PC version) when played via GeForce Now, using a PlayStation 5 DualSense controller. ⸻ 🐞 The Bug The Triangle (△) button — which normally performs the Quick Move to Stash / Quick Move to Inventory function — does not respond at all when interacting with the stash interface. However: • △ works perfectly in every other context (inventory navigation, equipping items, interacting with vendors, etc.). • The issue occurs only in stash management — both in towns and hideouts. All other buttons and shortcuts function correctly. ⸻ 💡 Context • Platform: GeForce Now (PC version of PoE2) • Controller: PlayStation 5 DualSense • Steam Input: Tested with both enabled and disabled (no effect). • Input Mode: Controller (BETA) • In-game Layout: PlayStation button icons visible (Triangle, Circle, etc.) ⸻ 🔍 Troubleshooting Performed I have already: 1. Disabled and re-enabled Steam Input. 2. Toggled “Cursor” and “Grid” stash modes (via L3). 3. Tested long-pressing Triangle (1–2 seconds). 4. Restarted multiple GeForce Now sessions. 5. Verified that the controller works correctly in all other game menus. None of these resolved the issue — the Triangle shortcut remains completely unresponsive only in the stash interface. ⸻ 🧠 Analysis This behavior appears to be specific to PoE2’s stash UI layer when running under cloud streaming environments (GFN). Since the input is registered correctly elsewhere, this likely indicates: • The “Quick Move to Stash” action is not receiving the long-press signal, • or the stash UI’s event handler is not polling the △ input under certain conditions unique to cloud instances. ⸻ 🙏 Request Could you please confirm whether this is a known issue in the current PC BETA build, and whether there is a planned fix or workaround for DualSense users on GeForce Now? Thank you for your time and for continuing to support controller play on PC — the new PoE2 control system is excellent overall, and this seems to be one of the few remaining rough edges. Kind regards, Last bumped on Oct 22, 2025, 5:59:30 AM
