Act 4 "The Search" -Confront Kanu the first Harold

I killed him as he killed me. When I respawned at the checkpoint, it still said to confront him, yet when I approached he did both the I'm defeated speech as well as his I will handle this speech. When he finished his defeated speech, he road a rock and off he went. No loot, understandable, no person to fight, eh, and the door is still blocked.

Exiting to character selection and the game did not fix in either situation. I had to leave and spawn a new instance to get back to the encounter. I am not sure if this is an issue with any other boss encounter or just this one. I don't make it a habit to die after I win :P.

Hope this is enough information to help resolve this type of issue.

A similar error occurred today on Scorpius_Ent twitch live stream. Kabala, The Constrictor Queen dove into the ground and never came back up. A respawn at last checkpoint got past the glitch.

Something similar to this just happened to me but with the vessel of kulemak. I'm playing a dot build. Was on his final phase, I died while he was low hp and then my dot killed him while I was dead. I respawned and now I just see his dead body with no loot and can't interact with anything on the map. I've logged, I've exited the area and relogged, I've reset the instance with ctrl+click... just his body laying on the ground, can't start a new fight, can't do anything.
