PC SHUTDOWN

About when 0.3 released I decided to get back into the game, however my reunion was cut incredibly short, after about 10 minutes in my pc shuts off completely. ok ill try again, might've been some weird power thing. again and again and again no bluescreen just off. now ofc this could be a number of things but after going on reddit many people are having this issue with POE2 specifically. I haven't found a "fix" for this yet but it seems people are turning off AMD XPO and that seems to be working for them. to the best of my knowledge POE2 seems to be throttling my CPU SKYHIGH (the thermal limit) hence the sudden shut off. Event viewer also kind of relays the same -(kernel power 41) Tried playing today and not even 2 seconds into the main menu my pc shuts off. seems ridiculous that i have to turn XPO off in order to play. Would love for this insane weird bug thing to be fixed, launching a game should never do this.

Use any tool that displays (or logs) the temperature. Run any stability test for 30+ minutes. If a low demanding game like PoE2 can throttle your system, your cooling solution is just dead.

The game has nothing to do with the shut offs. You should be able to run prime95 or blender rendering or y-cruncher (computing pi digits) without any issues over night (ideally never reaching thermal limit). There is no bug to be fixed. Effectively it's a wasted 7800X3D with a bad thermal solution (or a dead AIO pump, I do not believe it's a bios issue overshooting the CPU voltage - either vCore or vsoc)
