Divines rapidly becoming worthless from T7 map farm exploit

So a youtuber by the name of farham published a video detailing his theory about how "accumulation" as described by Jonathan worked.

The result was figuring out that by blocking higher tier drops, you'd get more divines that normally would have been converted into fewer greater/perfect regal exalts or chaos.

T7 is the breakpoint where greaters stop getting dropped, so all your rarity gets put to work into generating divines. You get more value from farming a T7 than a T17 map.

Ever since this video has dropped, the value of divines have dropped 50% or more compared to other valuable currency.

GGG you need to completely revamp the drop system so this isn't a thing.

Even if 100% accurate, this isn't an exploit/bug. It just metagaming. Your thread would be more appropriate for the discussion/feedback forums.
I doubt GGG intended t7s to be more profitable than t17s.
Is target farming meant to be discouraged? Doing t7s means they won't be getting maxroll gear. Your complaint isn't acknowledging that perhaps some players may want to do a map for more than just 'profit'.
I don't think ggg intended people to target farm divines, especially to the point where they drop 50% more, and it's by running a map tier that can be done with 1d worth of gear.

Why - If anything divine orbs are the worst of the currency orbs when it comes to game mechanics.

Realistically you'd ever need just few if attempting to better rolls. They are a reserve currency that's actually not useful. The divine drop rate should be way higher.

Their only real value comes from the previous installation of the game - hence tradition.

why would they make something that is worthless drop more?

I said - "the worst", NOT worthless. A divine orb can be mashed on any item in attempt to improve it; then it does something of worth (perhaps). Being used as a currency exchange only doesn't represent any value - just a habit/tradition/inertia.

That's it - the perfect exalt orbs, and/or annulment orbs would be a lot better option.
