Atlas map not revealing

I cleared a huge part of my Atlas map/map device.

The problem is, when I go look for a map to run, it just does not reveal everything I already revealed by clearing towers!

I know this because I set bookmarks all over and when I scroll or fast travel with the bookmarks it just shows me a grey smoke-covered screen, as if it is unrevealed, although I have already revealed it.

So I tried to wait for it to reveal, but it just doesn't, or takes well over several minutes, which would not be intended, I hope...

It should reveal itself after some time. But yes, that's probably not intended.
