Constant Crashing/Swap chain errors

I have been having some connectivity/crashing issues as of late with PoE2. Currently I am using the standalone version of the game, but recently also installed the steam version and was going to keep the standalone version installed as a back up in case Steam ever decided to go down.

There are two issues that have been happening with an excessive amount of frequency that were not happening prior to the steam version being installed (Now uninstalled)


1. Unable to create swap chain. I am not running any third party software like OBS, streaming on discord or anything like that (happens about 2-3 times per hour). Full crash while mapping.
2. Client freeze/crash happens while mapping. Game stutters a few times, then freezes, and then it says windows is waiting for a response.


I am currently using Vulkan because it reduces the crashing, but it still happens. I was running DX12 with DLSS and DLAA with high and ultra settings. Keep in mind this only happened after installing the steam version of the game. Prior to that I seldom experienced crashes.
