Ping spikes

After multiple weeks I finally wanted to play the new update, log in and immediately have ping spikes from 20 to 600 during maps making the game unplayable.
This has been going on for months and no change in sight, the game is unplayable. There should be refund opportunities since an unplayable product is technically no product, and not a single tune from GGG's end, this feels like a scam.
Why is it that every game in the world has working servers yet like clockwork 5pm+ EU times the servers are unplayable? As a consumer I really do not care about the technicalities, my jitter is near 0, my packet loss is 0, yet with GGG servers it is horrendous as if I was playing on a bad wifi connection.
