No Ascension Points Trials of Chaos 1st time

I completed the Trials of Chaos after I had completed the Trials of Sekhamas and was not awarded my second set of ascension points.

Have you completed the quest Chimeral Inscribed Ultimatum or the regular Inscribed Ultimatum? Have you interacted with the ascendancy altar?

I did interact with the statue at the end of the trial. I know I was supposed to “seek out the chimera” and then defeat it, which I did. That’s how I received the ultimatum. I will double check the quests and ultimatum when I get home this evening.

Double checked my quest logs, all quests are showing completed. Also double checked the Ultimatums in my inventory. I have three, two are 4 room trials and will not award ascendency points, one is a 7 and it will. And I only have 2 ascendency points.

Also, some people say that it helps them to refund their existing ascendancy points, and after that they have all the points back (I don’t know if this works).

" My tree only shows 2 ascendency points, no spares. I will look at refunding my existing points this evening. I was already thinking of something along that route; I was going to see if the missing points showed up after trying for points 5 and 6. |

Logged on this evening and went to reset my passives, my 3rd and 4th points were available. Thanks everyone for helping, seems trying to apply them at the statue in the Trials was bugged, but the points did carry over to be spent.
