Probably because your GPU is already struggling to even output good fps, anymore data will tank the fps even more.

People stress test their GPU with Furmark. I use elemental weakness kek.

I am also affected by this issue ;

I own a good computer that output steady 12O FPS. Unfortunately, when using Despair spell, my FPS fall down at 40 FPS.

I feel that particule effects that decorated the rendering of the curse spells, cause this massive performances drops.

It's clearly a game engine optimization problem

Please GGG, solve these issues.
