Why is rarity applicability for currency drops a very bad idea?

1. You limit access to beginners who need currency the most to develop their characters.
2. You increase access to currency drops for those who have more currency.
3. You force off-meta/non-pro players to spend money on items with higher rarity mods.
4. Items with rarity mods weaken the build.

Also agree. It doesn't belong on gear. I'd rather have light radius or lower gear requirement, lol. That sounded sarcastic, kinda was, but I also don't think it should be on gear. There may be some other things to remove...lol.

Rarity also seems to be non-linear from a lower to higher map.

If I'm running a 1 or an 11... I don't really feel any difference. Obviously map modifiers matter here... but I think there should be an obvious difference.

Gear seems clearly better in higher maps, currency not so much.

Otherwise everyone will just spam run low level maps with high rarity and buy their gear. lol? ...lol?

I've already tested it. On low-tier maps, the raw currency drop rates are the same; the only difference is the quality of the currency. Higher tiers mean more expensive currency, higher rarity gear means more expensive currency.

I don't think there should be a currency tier. All currency drop rates should only reflect the map's difficulty, not the gear's rarity.
