New Trade system items already sniped before showing up on my active search?

I've set up active searches and market items particularly in demand are already gone before they even hit the trade website where I have my active search running.

Some folks have said that "packet sniffers" aren't an issue now, but if so, how are they getting much quicker access to an in demand newly listed item?

GGG, please level the playing field for normal folk and not give an unfair advantages to RMTers.

bots are just faster, it'll always be that way

From sniping in the old system, I'm pretty sure there's just some randomness involved in who sees what listings first. I'm not sure the specifics but I've definitely sniped some things right before they got spammed with ten whispers, and also missed some things because they already got spammed by the time I saw it. When I listed cheap items I almost always noticed one or two initial whispers, then like a minute later a dozen would flood in. Idk if there's something else at play other than yeah bots just reacting to listings faster, but that bit of randomness explains what I've always seen.
