QoL Request: Allow Stash Access for Glyphs at the Map Device
|
Hey GGG team,
First off, want to say the new Glyph system for the Atlas has been a fantastic addition to endgame progression—customizing map modifiers adds meaningful choice for both casual players and hardcore grinders alike. That said, there’s a usability friction point that’s been eating at hardcore players like myself, and it feels solvable given existing game systems. The core issue: Hardcore players frequently swap between specialized Glyphs (for optimized map sustain, loot filters, or boss mechanics) before running maps. Right now, this requires exiting the Map Device → navigating to stash tabs → moving Glyphs to inventory → returning to the Map Device—a repetitive 30-second loop that breaks immersion and slows down efficient mapping. Casual players may not notice this since they use generic Glyphs, but for those pushing endgame tiers or farming specific content, it’s become a tedious chore. Here’s a straightforward fix inspired by an existing system: Let us access our stash directly from the Map Device when managing Glyphs, just like the Relic Altar in the Trial of the Sekhemas . That altar already lets players retrieve Relics from stash without leaving the interface—replicating this functionality for Glyph slots would eliminate the back-and-forth entirely. This isn’t a new mechanic to build from scratch; it’s repurposing a system you’ve already polished. For hardcore players, it would cut down on mindless inventory management and keep us engaged with the actual gameplay loop. It also aligns with the QoL improvements the community has been requesting for stash interactions . Love the direction PoE 2 is heading—small tweaks like this go a long way in keeping the endgame satisfying. Thanks for all the hard work! Last bumped on Oct 15, 2025, 8:59:47 AM
