A detailed list of feedback from another perspective.

I have enjoyed PoE2 a lot so far and have spent a lot of time playing and theorycrafting. Now I would like to give some feedback.
For context, I have never played PoE1. I find the most enjoyment in creating and optimizing my own builds. I have played the following builds to lvl 15 delirious maps in 0.3 so far: - Ember Fusillade Titan interweaving Orb or Storms and Mana Tempest on the move - Forgehammer Throw-Only Titan (carried hard by Atalui's, no aftershocks :/) - Ice Strike Invoker with >250 Trinity Now for the feedback: 1. Unify the modifiers "# to Level of all Melee Skills" and "# to Level of all Attack Skills". Having both possible and common on the same weapon types makes finding stuff harder and clutters the dropdowns. 2. "+# to Level of ... Skills" is so strong that an item's value is often determined by that one modifier. There is no point in using an item that does not include it, no matter how good the rest of it is. That makes crafting very linear and finding rare items barely ever having value (which is also bc for armour, the same goes for the flat and % defense modifiers). 3. Delirious maps going into the stash tab with delirium affinity is very annoying. I would much rather have them in the maps tab. The map tab is kind of disappointing too, though, making me want to go back to normal tabs for maps again. 4. Loot from Map Bosses, Azumeri Spirits and Expedition feels underwhelming. 5. There are some aspects of crafting that I feel like could be made much more enjoyable: 5.1 Adding quality is very tedious and there isn't any agency to it - you just always do it. Even more so when corrupting items. Why not remove manually adding quality making it exist only on exceptional items (or not at all)? A less fundamental change would be changing it to be a single item that adds +20% quality or allowing adding quality to currupted and sanctified items. 5.2 Having to watch the animation of revealing desecrated mods every session is tedious. 5.3 Adding deli to maps is very tedious. 6. The Delirium Fog is a horrible visual experience. Besides being awful to play the game with a greyscale filter 90% of the time, it makes seeing enemies and effects way harder. 7. I also had issues with performance and the game freezing, killing me when unfreezing. I'm sure you are well aware of that, but I can't leave it out due to how important fixing this is. 8. Both Ascendancy Trials are very tedious 95% of the time until randomly they can become impossible through some affliction/curse/boss roll that specifically counters your specific build. 9. I would highly appreciate some shortcuts on campaign runs after the first one of the league. Since I love trying out different builds, I tend to create 5+ characters per league. The first run is fun, but at some point gets very repetitive. 10. Balancing changes are of course very appreciated, since it is always discouraging to try something new, only to find out you do no damage compared to when you just slot in that one broken thing everyone else uses for that reason. Some examples are Atalui's Bloodletting, Rakiata's Flow, Sacrifice of Blood, Bloodmage Spell Crit (or crit in general). Last bumped on Oct 14, 2025, 3:03:59 PM
