[0.3.1] Monk feels hard at act1 vs other classes

Monk was my first character of the game, and while doing my second playthrough of the monk after playing all the classes, monk feels the hardest at the beggining of the campaign (act 1).

I think the reason is that monk lacks of durability as Ev/es AT THE START OF THE GAME, and also he has no crowd control effects early on, so you have to rely on ranged attacks/frozen locus. The warrior and huntress feels so much tankier as a melee character at the start of the game compared to the monk because they have tools to avoid damage (armour, stuns, parry/block). IMO the monk would need ice strike as lvl 1, because he also needs some special "auto attack".

Something that bothers me also is the quarterstaff skill gem progression. Early on falling thunder + killing palm feels odd vs bosses, also falling thunder is such a bad skill for the first drop of the game. I think monk needs another power charge generation (like huntress disengage which doesn't rely on culling enemies).

Before Ice Strike skill (around L14) i have felt like hitting with a foam weapon, feeling so weak for so long.
