1 portal kills my desire to play

The xp loss is already a hot topic and I dont even complain about that but having only one try at a map before losing it entirely is too demoralizing. Then after all of that you can't use tablets on that node anymore? That isn't just adding insult to injury its also kicking you in the balls.

Its weird how the devs do a patch to try to make the game better after listening to feedback but instead it's worse.

I agree with the kick in the ball of not being able to apply tablets, although I believe is for avoiding some exploits.

As for the one portal, it only happens when the map is fully maxed on stats, if you can't run them consistently, allow yourself one respawn. if you don't it's a gamble I respect, but a gamble nonetheless

Dont run 1 portal then

Last I checked when this game launched every map had one attempt, even better - the node lost its connection when you flopped.

Now it doesn't AND you have a choice as to how many attempts you want to have.

Too stressful? Build not strong enough? No longer have young nimble fingers? Run 2 tablets, you will have 3 portals.
Trust me the gains will even out/outscale attempting content you are incapable of consistently and efficiently running.

Game is in a state of imbalance, if you are not playing meta builds, I suggest you take a break until the next patch or 0.4, it's not worth the frustration.

Thx but im talking about running the most juice I can. Of course I could scale back but that isn't the goal. I personally don't believe you should be punished this hard for dying once.
