Nvidea crash recovery fails to pause game 50% of the time

I know you still haven't figured out how to fix the random nvidea crashes and are just recreating the entire game environment instead of crashing to desktop, but this isn't an acceptable solution if you can't consistently pause the game while doing it.

At least 50% of my game crash / recoveries which happen EVERY 15 MINUTES, do not pause the game and I'm left trying to survive with a black screen and no idea what's happening.

If you can't pause the game consistently when recreating the environment then just let me crash to desktop, at least then I won't be at risk of dying.
