High CPU Load

I'm experiencing the following issue: Since upgrading my graphics card, my CPU has been running at 100% load.

My current system:

CPU: AMD 7500F
GPU: RTX 3080
RAM: 32 GB DDR5 @ 6000 MHz
Storage: Samsung 970 Evo Plus M.2 SSD

Previously, I was using an RTX 2070 - the issue also existed back then, but it wasn't nearly as bad. The problem is most noticeable with DirectX 12, while Vulkan performs somewhat better.

I play pretty much every other AAA title, and my CPU never becomes a bottleneck in those games.

I'm aware that there have been performance issues with AMD CPUs and Path of Exile in the past, but this time it's much worse.

Is there anything I can do on my end to mitigate or fix this problem?

I'd like to resolve the issue before the league start if possible.

PoE has always been a very CPU intensive Game.

Obviously now that ur GPU is more powerful, the CPU will have more workload aswell.

As u said already, Vulkan is better for CPU utilization so that's one change u can make.

On top of that, I don't know what resolution u're playing on, but capping ur frame rate will help aswell.(60, 100, 120, 144... whatever ur screen is and u feel comfortable with)
U can also go to a higher resolution, if ur Monitor is up to the task. Higher resolution means GPU will be the bottleneck at some point again.

Resolution is 1080p with 100 FPS Cap.

Every New UE5 Game runs on my system fine just poe is the problem.

Never seen the CPU with a 100% workload
