Being relatively better than D4 does not make it good.

GGG cannot grasp how an arpg works and what are the staples of the genre.

Everything they push is going against the simple idea of the game.
We got this new patch for endgame that does not change a thing. Yeah cool we got the tower scrapped but we still got this Atlas map that serves no purpose except more clips to get into the actual game.

They change the objective of every map to be the boss buffing it like crazy. Good point to actually do the mechanics but the boss is rewarding less than a fucking random rare... You spend more time on the boss for less rewards and all that is forced to continue with your atlas pathing.

Also, this game is hard and it's not a multi mirror build that can be the argument saying it's easy... People are crafting builds that are getting every inch of power from the game systems because the game is flawed to its core.

The combats are unreadable, there is so many things going on you can't read shit, damage are unpredictable, some monster behaviour are also super shady and let's not talk about the plethora of affixes on rares that just makes the game worse (yeah you hasted + mana siphon).

That is for those core issues that people want op and meta build and just cruise clearing screens. They don't want to be punished for unexpectable and unavoidable damages.

The melee archetype is flawed for the same reason. Ho and let's not talk about the issue of having skyhigh stun and ailment threshold but being interrupted as a caster by the most random white monster.

That is why ranged attack archetypes are so strong. They just avoid the core flaws of the game.

Making a game uber complex and just mountain high looking down like elitist jerks does not make it a good game.

Just fix this, GGG is adding content and layers of features without addressing the most basic issues. It is super annoying as solving the core would make it one of the most enjoyable game but just achieve the opposite.
