Progression sucks in PoE2

1. Progression in act 1 and 2 seems fine but as you get past 3 into 4 and interlude, the gear isnt good enough. The passives dont add enough and the bosses are way too difficult without constantly purchasing items on the market. The game seems to have an overall lack of good gear pregression and seems to be focused only on endgame gear which is way too expensive and crafting costs way too much if you cant run T15 juiced up maps with 300% MF. I get about 1 Divine every 10 hours running T15 with 80% MF. Stupidly unbalanced. MF should be apart of the Atlas tree anyways. Why is it a required stat on all gear?
2. Ascendency shouldnt be locked behind late endgame high cost builds. Players should be able to finish their Ascendency tree before being able to complete a T15 map. The Trial of Sekhmas design, is terrible as well. I guess some people like speed running it though. 3. Endgame quests. I completed a T16 (6 modifiers) +1 monster level map with a boss on it and didnt get credit for the it in the Atlas tree. Didnt get credit for 78 or 80. I dont even know what an Anomoly map boss is. The citadel bosses suck. They 1 shot players with no chance of being completed without a super expensive character build so the passive tree cannot gain progress. Citadel bosses should be unlocked for lower tier maps like T10 so the quest can be completed. I tried building defenses and resists as high as i could get them and still got 1 hit. Tried stacking HP up to 8000; still got 1 shot killed. The games defensive side seems like garbage, i hear people talk about unkillable builds but building out defenses didnt do anything for me. Maybe i just need 5000 divine orbs worth of gear and jewels. Last bumped on Oct 12, 2025, 6:02:41 AM
