Other Players Entering Hideout While Map Portal Is Generating Causes Auto Fail of Map

Description:

While I was trying to open a map in my own hideout, I clicked inside the map and zoomed out to my hideout. The portal around the map device was not generated. At that exact moment a player zoned into the hideout to buy from Ange. The portal failed to generate. I attempted to correct the problem by zoning to the town in Act 1 and back into the hideout. Portal was not generated, waystone and tablets are consumed, and the location was designated "Map Attempted". Tablets thus have no effect on the map. The location is Frozen Falls with a t15 waystone (2 tablets), and the hideout I am using is the Canal Hideout, if that's relevant.
