My take on solution the Rarity.

Remove it from equipment and create another item category called RRelics — basically relics for the Trial of Sekhemas, but focused entirely on Magic Find.
These would be slotted in a similar type of interface as the Sekhema relics, but located on the Atlas Tree instead. RRelics could be unique items, and might not only increase generic rarity but also allow you to specialize your farming focus. For example: Increased rarity of items found Increased rarity or quantity of items found in chests Increased weapon/armor/jewelry drops from monsters (or their rarity) Increased gold dropped Increased chance to drop items with quality or sockets (including exceptional ones) Increased chance to encounter Omens Increased chance to find Logbooks ...and so on. With this type of item, you could really target the kind of loot you want and push your farming in that direction. This way, every build would be on more equal footing — and, more importantly, it would be fun to hunt for these relics. The possibilities are endless! What do you guys think? I think not having a good looting experience because I haven't been lucky enough to find good relics is equally as annoying as not having a good looting experience because I haven't been lucky enough to find good rarity gear.
The solution remains not having rarity as a stat in the first place, and just improving the base looting experience |

If they only gave a tiny bump and nuked the ceiling the right thing for us to do would be to point out they lost their minds, and refuse to play until they did what they were supposed to do in the first place. Raise the base looting experience that equates to running over 150% rarity and a 6 mod waystone with the best tablets, since that's pretty much the minimum tolerable experience. And the default you get with no juicing should be at the minimum tolerable. |

stop asking for removal of rarity on gear it's a stat in all arpg's, this one is just overtuned the ceiling should be reduced from 150 to 100 to stop the complainers (because yes, 150 soft cap is too high for many builds). default loot drops should not be changed. if floor is raised and ceiling is nuked, everyone will quit the league within a week of launch. it's a grindy game that requires grinding, you're asking to remove the grind. hell no. |
