sweeping changes to core mechanics without documentation?
| I know this is a hot button topic atm but the changes to rarity and loot with the patch this week was rough after spending 100s of hours setting up a rarity character.  It's not only max rarity setups feeling the squeeze even low rarity setups like the 150 range are seeing a huge drop in general currency drop. Was it a bit out of control that groups could have a iir culler and make tons of currency every map. Yes. Is mid league without any information on the changes the way to handle things. I don't believe so. I know this is beta and we are testing and I'm fine with that. But if you make massive changes to core mechanics that effect the entire game it really should be documented. As a culler before patch running 100s of maps with a group it was guaranteed to see a div or better each map. Since the patch same groups same 500iir and we are seeing drops like solo play. Maybe 1 div every 10 maps on well rolled delirious, abyss maps. The changes are not rng I have talked to 3 other groups and all of them had the same results after the patch. Myself and 2 other groups were playing before and directly after and noticed it immediately. After days of hoping it was rng or a bug we have all figured it was intentional. That is the reason so much top tier iir gear got posted in the last 2 days. Everyone is trying to dump it before the masses find out it's worthless. I don't care if it changes. | The patch definitely sucks. Much less dropping now. And they really need to add a /players 8 style command to let solo players have the benefits of a full party in exchange for the increased difficulty because solo players got screwed the hardest. | Have you tried "Monsters from Abysses have increased Difficulty and Reward for each closed Pit in that Abyss" mod combines with natural overrun by abyss on the atlas map? I tried that and surprisingly more divine tier drops than ever, but it's very risky cuz the mobs dmg ramp up to oneshot for the last pits. |   | 
| If this is true, GGG have finally done something sensible. All this botting and group rarity exploit has destroyed the economy, and the game's balance. Because it has been "balanced" around streamer wants, everybody are now hunting for rarity gear, just to try to keep up. So let us all hope this is true, and GGG have for once tried to do something about this blatant exploit. |   |
