Maps: We need a toggle on/off option for rare monster indicators.

If you want to make the boss the sole way to complete a map, that's fine, but for those of us that want to hunt down the rare monsters for loot, the new changes make it more tedious for us now.

Solution: Add a toggle option on/off for those of us who still want to see rare icons.

doesn't need a toggle imo

boss loot is trash
rare loot is gg (what we consider normal)

just bring it back, but keep boss required for completion

the removal of the icon forces us to full clear and/or spec out of essences because we can't see them :/

best i can support is a unique helmet that grants:
"
-90% reduced light radius
-90% reduced MF
-grants the ability to see Rares on your minimap. (works in campaign maps too).

the effect is disabled for that instance if you remove the helmet at any time during that instance.
Don't get lost by being so focused on the target that you forget to enjoy your surroundings.
I second the person who said just bring it back.

If for whatever reason they dont want to bring it back (even amongst all this negative criticism) then atleast in the form of a unique, allow headhunter players to see rares, or put that a feature for towers. There are so many low hanging fruit opportunities here its wild they just up and removed them from normal maps, but kept the rare icons in the unqiue maps.

It means they either deliberately removed them, or its an accidental bug. Either situation is bad considering they havent communicated anything yet. Probably getting their bearings straight before they say anything that might disrupt things anymore.
i prefer it gone, but I also play quick builds that have no easy quick full clearing.
I want it back as well. Also, for some reason unique boss icon doesn't appear at start - only after some time. So things are way worse right now.
Maphack(aka rare icons) toggle, godmode toggle, loot toggle!
I prefer to not have those icons on the map. I found them annoying.

I love this idea, I want to kill rares, I do not want fight bosses with my current character.

Other people want the opposite, so make the game flexible to select your targets is a cool idea.
Hard disagree. Keep rare icons hidden.

They specifically said that rare icons devolved into a minimap game of hunting the icons, and I agree. Play the game, explore, find the rares.
