More visibility illogical code

Can someone explain how in an arena I'm expected to not be able to see or target a 50ft. tall boss, but he can one piece me from across the map although h8s attack actually never hit and there's 3 30ft ice walls in his face?
For the record the attack didn't seem to hit me rather adjacent to.

If these impossible scenarios can exist, the least that can be done is to improve our backpack design. As I understand the reason we don't have what is comically known as a "horse pocket" is realism.
