Constant crashes and “Failed to load location” after Patch 0.3 (Steam Client)

Hey everyone,

Since the release of Patch 0.3, I’ve been having serious stability issues with Path of Exile 2.
At first, the game just crashed from time to time, but recently it got much worse.

Now, whenever I try to enter certain maps that I’ve already unlocked, I often get the error message:

“Failed to load location”

Sometimes it loads after several crashes, but most of the time it just refuses to open the area at all.
It makes the game almost unplayable.

I’ve tried all the common fixes I could find on the forums (file integrity check, reinstalling, changing DX12/Vulkan settings, lowering graphics, etc.), but nothing helped.

Would really appreciate any advice or help from the devs or community.
