[BUG] Citadel never appeared after hundreds of maps (Atlas progression stuck, 0.3.0–0.3.1)
|
I’ve been playing on version 0.3.0–0.3.1 and reached level 95. I’ve completed hundreds of endgame maps and fully unlocked my Atlas Tree, but I have never encountered a single Citadel or Citadel boss. The Citadel icons never appeared on my Atlas, and the endgame boss progression seems completely stuck.
I have tried: Running different map tiers and regions Verifying game files Creating new map instances But nothing triggered any Citadel appearance. This seems to be a persistent Atlas progression bug where the Citadel system never activates for the character. Steps to reproduce: Reach endgame with version 0.3.0–0.3.1 Run maps across all regions Observe that Citadel icons and bosses never appear Expected result: At least one Citadel should appear after several maps, allowing progression toward regional bosses. Actual result: No Citadel or boss spawn ever occurs. Bug report number: 1.923.038.726 Thank you for your time — this issue completely blocks endgame progression Türkçe açıklama; 0.3.0–0.3.1 sürümünde 95 seviye oldum, yüzlerce harita yaptım ama bir tane bile Citadel veya Citadel boss’u görmedim. Atlas ağacım tamamen açık (Citadel boss görevi hariç ), ama Citadel ikonları hiç çıkmadı ve endgame boss progression tamamen takılmış durumda. /bug komutuyla aldığım rapor numarası yukarıda belirtilmiştir. I've been farming Citadels all league long, and here's some advice:
The key to finding Citadels is understanding that the Atlas is generated like a honeycomb. Each zone contains a tower, and that tower zone can contain a unique maps, corrupted area, citadel, or sometimes nothing at all (just a connector area — which seems to be a generation bug). The tower isn’t always in the center of its zone, and the zones themselves aren’t always circular, which causes some of those “weird” links between maps. How zone generation works: The Atlas isn’t generated all at once — only your current zone and its neighboring zones exist at any given time. When you reach the edge of a zone, new neighboring zones are generated around it, making the Atlas effectively infinite. When you unlock a tower, it clears the fog and reveals nearby cells. This, in turn, triggers generation of new zones adjacent to the revealed ones. Since towers have a larger visibility radius than regular maps, they can reveal Citadel lights from quite far away, so don’t ignore them — towers are one of the best ways to spot Citadels in the distance. What kind of content spawns in a zone: The type of content in a zone depends on the regions around it. If there’s water in a neighboring region, there’s a good chance the new zone will also have water. If there are mountains nearby, the new zone might have mountains too — and so on. How to find Citadels: Since Citadels tend to spawn near mountains and water, you should move through regions that have those features, unlocking every tower along the way to trigger new zone generation — each new zone has a chance to create a Citadel. Also, make sure you travel far enough away from your starting position and the burning monolith. There’s a minimum distance from the monolith after which Citadels can start spawning. Finally, keep in mind that Corrupted Areas and Citadels cannot exist within the same zone, so you can safely skip or bypass zones that already contain a Corrupted Area — there won’t be a Citadel there. |
