It's not Ebay

This isn't really dev feedback so much as community feedback, but I honestly could not find a better location.

I understand there are a Huge number of Communists in impoverished nations accessing this game (illegally) as well as young kids who have little life and economic experience, but this isn't an auction house.

The actions of the current community explain the principle concepts of out of control inflation and the mentality which has caused many to become impoverished in the first place.

Yes, the market exists to trade items, and one can easily profit using it, but it appears it is becoming more of a P.V.P event lately.

What people don't realize is when one constantly bids against other players and escalates progressively to "win" an imaginary auction that doesn't exist, you are devaluing your stock.
If you buy and flip, the buy stock often ALSO devaluates. This isn't a real issue unless you take the time to consider higher values require more gold, which is a resource one can't easily just buy.

You can play how you wish, but the penny up bidding hurts the community and will inevitably hurt you. If your goal is to prevent others from profiting who will buy your overpriced armour after muscling out of the market?
Would you rather sell a waystone for a div, or 100 exalt?

Just calm down, wait your turn and the things you need to sell will pop. If you MUST move something immediately it doesn't mean everyone and their cousin has try and undercut.
It isn't Ebay.
