Atlas Tree suggestions.
|
As a newish PoE player (1500h Poe2 660h Poe1) there are several elements of the PoE1 Atlas Tree that I find much better than PoE2.
First that there are three copies of the Tree available that can be selected and used independantly. This allows users to modify game play easily with no cost. This is one aspect that really needs to come to PoE2. Second is the elements of the PoE1 Tree that allow you to tell the mapping what mechanics I don't want. I personally don't like wisps so having the ability to tell the system not to give me wisps would allow it to give me mechanics that I do like. Thiird, the ability to scope mechanics in PoE1 is also far superior. But I like having seperate trees for the main Mechanics like Breach vs the PoE1 versions, as if I did not want Expedition I can totally avoid completing that tree. But I would still like to exclude it completely. However I think these trees need to be expanded and made a bit more interconnected, so we need more skill points to be available and more nodes. The number of Skill points in PoE1, while it may seem daunting to PoE2 only players, allows so much more flexibility. Maybe like Poe1 we should get 1 point per specific map at a map level, plus ones for the unique maps till we have about 100 points, with still 10 to 15 points for each of the specialist trees. I am sure PoE1 veterans will have other ideas as well. These are just a few from my "limited" play time.
