CORRUPTING BLOOD FROM TRIAL OF CHAOS AFFECTING CI.

Maximum life is 1.
Immune to chaos damage and BLEEDING.

The corrupting blood trap that spins around with 4 beams of blood dealt damage to me, even though i should be IMMUNE to bleeding, it should encompass ALL types of bleeding, or AT THE VERY LEAST you should name it (corrupting blood's bleeding) a different thing. Let's stick to POE general rule of respecting the WORDING LITERALLY PLS.
I hope this is a bug.

I understand why you would associate it with bleeding from the history in POE1, but Corrupted Blood is currently not a bleed in either game. TLDR to all my wordiness below is that it's not a bug.

Chaos Inoculation was changed to make you immune to bleeding at the same time as bleeding was changed to allow damage to energy shield to cause bleeding (in Patch 0.2.0e). Its protection from bleeding (which bypasses energy shield) used to be inherent in the fact that you couldn't be made to bleed if you hadn't taken any damage to life. They added the immunity to accommodate this change in behaviour.

Poison also bypasses energy shield, but is handled by CI providing immunity to chaos damage.

Corrupted Blood in POE2 is defined as a stacking physical dot that is distinct from bleeding and unaffected by any stats that affect bleeding. This matches the current definition in POE1.
Edit because I forgot to add: It does not bypass energy shield, so no immunity is forcibly required.

It used to be associated with bleeding in POE1, but since Patch 3.14 was changed to be a distinct stacking physical dot unaffected by stats affecting bleeding. For consistency with the existing game, life flasks with the "of Staunching" and similar affixes have also been given immunity to Corrupted Blood. This continues to associate it with bleeding, but the intention was to make them distinct. It requires its own immunity modifiers to be mitigated.

In the description when you select the debuff on the trial of chaos, it's WORDED as bleeding, so it should be changed straight up into "corrupted" and imho CI should be immune to it anyway...
CI is more balanced and more expensive than life + Energy shield (not sure, but should be since if you have more than 1 life still you can use life flasks like the olroths), despite making life easier (forgetting about chaos resistance).
Sorry, I was inadvertently skipping over that part of your post.

If the Chaos Trial words the trial challenge as involving Corrupted Blood and 'bleeding' then I would agree the wording should be clarified.

There are separately 'Globules of Blood' that deal a physical dot, but I didn't recall the game's description of the stage you are referring to.
Is that what you mean?

Where does it say anything about bleeding? And if you look at the "Corrupted Blood" keyword description, it will be specifically explained
"
Corrupted Blood is a Debuff that deals Physical damage over time and can stack up to 10 times.

Corrupted Blood is not Bleeding and is not affected by any stats related to Bleeding.

And there are no "ALL types of bleeding." Bleeding is a specific debuff.
