Ground Items are important !
The addition of exceptional bases and uniques was great and i hope they continue to give the ground loot much importance , so i have couple sugestions:
Normal Bases that can drop with unique mods on them for example : A body armour that drops with a speed modifier lets say (1-4%) extra ms . That modifier is unique to that base and cant be found when crafting , if we lose that modifier its gone forever ( you could still try to recombinate or fracture it) . Other idea is that normal bases could drop with a Tier 0 modifier , 0 being superior to tier 1 modifiers by 5% lets say. And as same as before , this modifier cannot be gained by normal crafting and if you lose that mode when crafting its gone forever. Hope they keep adding stuff like this cause i feel ground loot is extremely important to the and a sign of a healthy game. Last bumped on Oct 8, 2025, 8:35:25 PM

" there isent much else you can do to make normal bases interesting , sory you dont like it but it makes perfect sense to keep adding stuff to ground loot |

The loot is there.
The issue is it is static. PoE1 you can morph a "SET" when you need to . You can get an awesome item it can replace an item that had 100% resist to whatever. You CAN make it work. You can go and recraft elements of your gear to adjust for the missing resists or the missing stats so you can swap gear. PoE2 has locked you into random gear Which means you cannot swap a gear set. In fact it would be hilarious to watch someone brick the whole set ... which they would. Im SSF the loot has improved i can tell. Doesn't matter though because it is just an item in my stash, ill never be able to use it on this character, perhaps ill build around it on the next... but i doubt there will be a next, games too sweaty to experiment with builds.
