Ritual Altar: revived unique Delirium boss doesn't drop a Simulacrum Splinters

I fought this boss in three different rituals, but I never got any splinters from him, even though he did drop splinters when I killed him initially. I suspect he doesn't drop any loot in the ritual at all.
