Unable to Link Email to PlayStation Network Path of Exile Account - Verification Issue

I am experiencing a technical issue when attempting to link my email address to my Path of Exile account, which was originally created through PlayStation Network.

Issue Description:

1. I created my Path of Exile account through PlayStation Network.

2. When I attempt to link my email (-----@gmail.com) via the website interface, I am informed that I will be redirected to Sony for authentication verification.

3. After entering my email address and clicking submit, nothing happens except being redirected back to the Path of Exile website with the following error message:

"You cannot add this login method to this account. The email on the account you want to merge must be verified to complete this process."


I need technical support to resolve this issue and clarify what steps are necessary to successfully link my email address to my PlayStation Network-created account.

- Complete the linking of my email to my PSN-created account
