Feedback: MTX & Wardrobe System in PoE2 Need a Serious Overhaul
There are a few long-standing issues with how MTX and character appearance are handled in PoE (and now PoE2) that really need attention.
1. Wardrobe UI Design The current “Wardrobe” interface feels outdated and unintuitive. Please make it match the My Cosmetics UI inside the shop menu — where you can actually see your character and manage your MTX in one place. It’s far easier to preview and organise cosmetics that way. 2. Armour Unlocks & Skin Transfers The skin transfer system feels like an outdated workaround. In other ARPGs, once you unlock an item’s appearance, you can freely apply it to any compatible gear. In PoE, needing a separate MTX item just to reskin something is clunky and discourages experimentation. 3. MTX Previewing & Management Previewing cosmetics in PoE is cumbersome — there’s no good zoom, rotation, or combined preview system. It’s mostly trial and error. On top of that, the requirement to unequip unique MTX from one character before using them on another is an unnecessary limitation carried over from PoE1. If a player owns an MTX, it should be freely usable across all characters without manual re-equipping. In short: The MTX system in PoE2 would greatly benefit from:
These changes would make managing and enjoying cosmetics far more intuitive and modern. "there is no spoone" - The Matricks Last bumped on Oct 8, 2025, 12:05:00 AM
